About This Policy

Jugurtha Fit operates a pre-launch waitlist website. This policy describes what information is collected when you submit your email address to the Jugurtha Fit waitlist, why it is collected, and how it is handled. It covers only this website and the waitlist registration process.

What We Collect

When you submit the waitlist form, we collect:

• Email address. You provide this voluntarily when you join the waitlist.

The form also includes a hidden anti-bot field. Legitimate visitors are not expected to complete it. A value entered there is used only to identify automated submissions and is not treated as waitlist profile information.

Standard web infrastructure may also process technical request metadata, such as an IP address, browser or user-agent information, request time, and diagnostic details, to deliver and protect the website. The current Jugurtha Fit application code does not use this metadata to build advertising or marketing profiles.

The site uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate page traffic and site performance. Vercel may process page URLs, referrers, browser or device details, and coarse location derived from request data under its service terms. Jugurtha Fit does not use this operational analytics data for advertising.

PostHog integration code is present but disabled by default in this release. PostHog event capture and session recording are not active unless the deployment explicitly enables them. They must not be enabled without appropriate privacy notice and consent controls.

Why We Collect It

Your email address is collected to manage the Jugurtha Fit early-access waitlist, provide product and launch updates, and share Android testing opportunities when they become available.

How Your Information Is Used

• To notify you when Jugurtha Fit early access opens.
• To contact you about Android testing opportunities if participation is offered.
• To send early-access updates directly related to the Jugurtha Fit product.

Jugurtha Fit does not sell waitlist email addresses or disclose them to advertisers. Service providers may process the information on Jugurtha Fit's behalf where needed to operate the waitlist and website.

Storage and Service Providers

Waitlist submissions are sent to the server-side /api/waitlist endpoint. The waitlist implementation uses a PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase. Browser code does not receive the database credentials or connect directly to the database.

The website is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may process technical request metadata to deliver, monitor, and protect the website under its applicable service terms.

Data Retention

Waitlist email addresses are retained while they are needed to administer the waitlist and related early-access communication, or until a deletion request is completed, unless a longer period is needed for legal or security reasons.

A fixed operational retention period is not currently documented. Jugurtha Fit must finalize and publish that schedule before public launch. Hosting and database providers may also retain limited backups or logs under their own operational schedules.

Your Choices

You may ask to have your waitlist email corrected or deleted. Requests will be handled through the public address in the Contact section and may require reasonable verification that the request concerns your email address. There is no automated deletion tool on this waitlist website.

Security

The current application includes safeguards such as server-only database credentials, request and email validation, request-size limits, exact-origin checks, an anti-bot field, and request timeouts. The database migration is designed to block direct access by public browser roles. Deployment controls must still be verified in the live environment.

The production Vercel deployment uses HTTPS. No method of internet transmission or electronic storage can be guaranteed completely secure.

Children's Privacy

The Jugurtha Fit waitlist is not designed for or directed to children. The form asks only for an email address and does not ask for age, so Jugurtha Fit cannot determine a submitter's age from the form alone. If you believe a child provided an email address, use the Contact section to request its deletion.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and describe material changes where practical. Review this page periodically if you remain on the waitlist.
